Michael Spriggs

Graduated in geology from Oxford University and trained as a geologist, working for various leading resource companies, including BP-Amoco, Anglo American, Rio Tinto and Falconbridge, working on international exploration assignments. Following this, he spent 11 years as a ranked analyst with the mining team at investment bank SG Warburg. He subsequently joined College Hill, where he was for five years Head of the Natural Resources team. He is also a past Editor of the Metal Bulletin. Michael joined Bankside in 2004.
