Simon trained with Coopers & Lybrand before entering financial PR and in 1987 moved into the financial services sector.  

He has led many notable financial services industry events, primarily advising on press relations issues. However, in cases where a new business is being established or an existing one undergoing a major re-organisation he also advises on the wider marketing and communication issues.  

The range of organisations he has worked with include:- accountancy firms, banks, building societies, fund managers, general insurers, investment trusts, IFA groups, life insurers, and VCTs. He joined Bankside in October 2006
